The CD is compiled from 100 old post cards and photographs that give an insight into the social and development of the town. School photographs, pictures of early tennis players, Birkenhead's Suffragettes and views of the town that have long disappeared help us to understand what it was like to live in and around Birkenhead in the early years of the 1900's. |
